IP Telephony

IP Telephony covers Communications Platform, Converged Infrastructure, Customer Interaction Suite of Applications and Intelligent System and Network Management solutions.

 

The Communications Platform converts the Intelligent Presence Server which lets users reach the people they need more effectively, easily accessing and leveraging the multiple channels of communications available to them and also the SIP Application Server, which supports applications that blend voice, video, data, and presence to form advanced communications services for corporate users and consumers.

 

The Converged Infrastructure includes Access Points, Stackable Switches and Media gateways.

Avaya Customer Interactive Suite is a full-service contact center solution with software, applications, and components for operating and managing a customer call center. Essential, Standard, and Advanced editions offer different configurations and capabilities.

 

The Intelligent System and Network Management Solutions include the Converged Network Analyzer, Distributed Office, Integrated Management and VPNmanager Series.

 

 Contact Centres

 In addition to Customer Interaction Suite of Applications, it also provides MultiVantage Communication Services, MultiVantage Customer Interaction Suite of Applications and MultiVantage Telephony Applications.

 

Unified Communications

 Avaya Unified Communications Editions are suites of communications applications including telephony, messaging, conferencing, and mobility, which are bundled to help organizations deliver the right applications to the right devices based on end user needs.

The Unified Communications Standard Edition offers key functionality in a single bundle, giving enterprises the flexibility to choose the best client for each end user at a cost effective price.  This collection provides access through thick, thin and mobility clients along with integration with leading productivity suites such as IBM® Lotus® Sametime® and Microsoft® Office Communicator.  Thus providing enterprises with both centralized and desktop deployment options. It also delivers seamless mobility capabilities allowing users to extend telephony functions to a mobile device.

Modular Messaging is a powerful IP- and standards-based unified messaging platform designed for single- or multi-site global enterprises. Modular Messaging offers exceptional scalability and a superior feature package of call answering and voice messaging capabilities. Messages are accessible any time, anywhere from a wide array of access devices including telephones, fax machines, or PC graphical user interfaces.

With the release of Modular Messaging 4.0, Avaya one-X® Speech will also be included as a standard functionality.

The UC range includes one-X Deskphone Value Edition, Digital Phones, Attendant Console, IP and Analog Phones.

The advanced IP Telephones are specifically designed for the everyday telephone user who relies on multiple communications tools

such as e-mail and IM, yet still requires a high quality and intuitive telephone.

 

Communication Enabled Business Processes (CEBP)

CEBP can help many industries increase agility and manage risk. It automates business processes so they detect events requiring human participation, and locate decision makers. Traditionally, embedding communications in processes meant using complex, expensive CT APIs. But Avaya uses SOA to create a simpler way of adding communications while eliminating the technical details of CT programming. Avaya uses Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and open standards to simplify integration of communications and business applications.
